Thursday’s early MLB slate offers a strong mix of sharp money movement, ace-level pitching spots, and explosive prop potential. From trusted moneyline anchors to high-upside home run plays, these are the most intelligent bets worth targeting before first pitch.

🪙 Boston Red Sox ML +131

🪙 Arizona Diamondbacks ML -150

Price is high, but this is the value favorite we like most outside Detroit. Michael Soroka entered 4-0 with a 2.78 ERA and 28 strikeouts, Arizona is 13-9, and Chicago is just 8-14. The line has not run away too far, which keeps this playable.

🪙 Philadelphia Phillies ML -110

About time for Phillies to win a game

👟Detroit Tigers -1.5 (-105)

The best run-line to attack. If the moneyline steam is right, the Skubal edge gives Detroit a strong chance to win by margin rather than simply escape late.

👟 LA Dodgers -1.5 (+110)

👟 Arizona Diamondbacks -1.5 (+137)

5️⃣ LA Dodgers 1st 5 innings Money Line (-140)

stands out because Tyler Glasnow entered 2-0 with a 3.24 ERA, 0.84 WHIP, and 29 strikeouts, while Logan Webb carried a 5.40 ERA and 1.40 WHIP. If you want to isolate the starting pitching edge and avoid late bullpen noise, this is the cleanest way to play that game

5️⃣ Detroit Tigers F5 -1 Run Line (-108)

This is almost as strong as the full-game moneyline. Skubal is the best early-game arm on the board, and this isolates the biggest edge before bullpens enter.

5️⃣Phillies-Cubs F5 Under 4.5 (+115)

This is our favorite first-five total. Cristopher Sánchez entered with a 1.59 ERA and 39 strikeouts, while Edward Cabrera brought a 2.38 ERA and 1.28 WHIP. With both starters in good form, the first half is more appealing than the full-game under.

↕️ Padres vs Rockies OVER 11 (-110)

This is the best full-game total on the board. Matt Waldron entered with a 14.73 ERA and 2.46 WHIP, Ryan Feltner was at a 6.00 ERA, and the game is in Coors with San Diego entering 8-2 over its last 10. Even with a huge posted number, the setup still points to runs.

↕️ Phillies-Cubs Under 9.5 (-115)

This is the sharper counterweight on the slate. This is more of a pitching-and-price play than a pure offense fade, with Sánchez and Cabrera both carrying excellent early-season numbers into Wrigley.

↕️ Chicago White Sox at Arizona Diamondbacks UNDER 9 (-115)

↕️ LA Dodgers at San Francisco Giants OVER 7.5 (+100)

Giants bullpen can be shaky, and offensive power on Dodgers side, should be able to take advantage at SF Bay.

⏫ San Diego Padres Team Total Over 5.5 (-130)

This is live all afternoon in Coors. Feltner’s 6.00 ERA plus Colorado’s recent 4.34 staff ERA over the last 10 gives San Diego a path to a crooked number game.

⏫ Atlanta Braves Team Total Over 4.5 (-130)

Atlanta has been run machine lately, and they should be able to score at least 5.

Detroit Tigers Team Total Over 4.5 (+120)

This is the best team-total bet on the card. Detroit gets the weaker starter, the steam is on the home side, and this is the most direct way to cash in on the Skubal/Sproat gap without paying a steep moneyline tax

🔶  Phillies-Cubs NRFI (-114)

The most attractive NRFI setup because both starting pitchers enter with sub-2.40 ERAs and legit swing-and-miss ability

🔶 White Sox-Diamondbacks NRFI (-108)

This is our second favorite. Davis Martin entered with a 2.16 ERA and Michael Soroka with a 2.78 ERA, which is plenty good enough for a first-inning fade. ESPN White Sox-Diamondbacks

🔷Padres / Rockies RFI YES (-145)

⚾ Tarik Skubal [Tigers] OVER 7.5 Strikeouts (+115)

Our favorite pitcher prop. The market is screaming Detroit, and Skubal’s 33 strikeouts with ace-level form make him the best strikeout ceiling play of the early slate

Tyler Glasnow [Dodgers] OVER 6.5 Strikeouts (+120)

Glasnow brought 29 strikeouts and a 0.84 WHIP into a matchup with a sub-.500 Giants club. ESPN Dodgers-Giants

📊 Exclusive OVER UNDER DAILY Data Analytics suggested picks 💹

Cristopher Sanchez [Phillies] OVER 5.5 Strikeouts (+105)

🎯Hunter Goodman [Rockies] Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-140)

Makes a lot of sense at Coors. He entered 11-for-40 over his last 10 with five doubles and four home runs, and Waldron’s ugly surface numbers keep Colorado bats live.

🎯Freddie Freeman [LA Dodgers] Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-135)

🎯Shohei Ohtani [LA Dodgers] Over 2.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+125)

🎯Willi Castro [Rockies] Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-125)

🎯Bryce Harper [Phillies] Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-140)
